The Citizens Information Board delivers the Information Providers Programme (IPP) to support and enable information providers to provide a quality information service in the community as a paid or volunteer information provider.
This programme is validated by FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council), which is designated at level 6 on the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI) framework. The programme is comprised of two locally devised modules:
There are a number of ways to participate on the programme each appropriate to the particular learner.
The Citizens Information Board will commence delivery of the FETAC accredited IPP programme by Distance Learning in all regions in September this year, see contact details in the IPP course Information Booklet below:
