The Citizens Information Board provides a number of supports to the voluntary sector, in particular to those voluntary organisations who provide information on rights and entitlements either to the general public or to specific groups including people with disabilities, older people and lone parents.
We assist independent information providers by providing:
- General advice, through Citizen Information Board regional services
- Citizen Information Board publications on rights and entitlements
- Telephone assistance with information queries (query back-up service)
- The www.citizensinformation.ie site and other electronic resources
- Access to training services and programmes
- Non-core funding for specific projects
