Welcome to the Citizens Information Board e-bulletin on funding. The Citizens Information Board is the statutory body which supports the provision of information, advice and advocacy on the broad range of social and civil services to the public. It provides the Citizens Information website and supports the voluntary network of Citizens Information Services and the Citizens Information Phone Service.
The Funding Information e-bulletin gives information relevant to funding and support for voluntary and community work in Ireland. The e-bulletin is organised into two main sections:
Up to date information on the funding schemes included here, and many others, is available in the Citizens Information Board's Resource Database for the Voluntary and Community sectors (Funding Section) which is available online at www.citizensinformationboard.ie.
See also the Voluntary and Community Sector News on citizensinformation.ie for details of new schemes as they are announced.
The information is compiled by Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts. Additional information is included in print format in The Irish Fundraising Handbook, which complements the online resource.
The next e-bulletin will be circulated in September 2009. The e-bulletin archive is available online (www.citizensinformationboard.ie/newsletter/).
