The President Mary McAleese was welcomed recently to Clondalkin Citizens Information Service where she paid an informal visit to the staff and clients. In the current economic climate she was keen to hear first hand the pressures and concerns facing those who are coming in increasing numbers to use the service.
She was greeted by Donal Costello, Manager of Clondalkin CIS, Eileen Fitzgerald, Senior Manager, Citizens Information Board (CIB) and Emily Smartt, Chair, Clondalkin CIS. The President was also presented with a hand crafted view of Clondalkin Tower to mark the occasion.
